Not About Prom

I am not going to be blog about prom, since I did not go. I went to prom last year with JFK and had a great time. It was at Downtown Disney at the Jazz Kitchen, so my expectations are high. Instead of going to prom this year, I was at a Woman's Retreat at Murietta Hot Springs. We left on Friday and came home Sunday. I had such a good time. On Friday, I was a part of the cardboard testimonies, which left many women in tears. It was a reality of how good our God is. Later that night, our church played at the coffee house and that was like a prom to me. On Saturday, we were taught by Jean McClure, who was amazing. This retreat was all about Pslam 23. I also went to a workshop by Corrie Curtner who talked about fear. I like that she said that fear is the opposite of faith. One lady also mentioned that fear is False Evidence Appearing Real. I also sat in the spa during break time and it was very relaxing. That night, I prayed with some woman for their needs and shared the Good News with a random guy who texted my friend. I was so sad to leave on Sunday after having such a good time. I went to take a nap at 5pm and ended up waking up at 6:15am Monday Morning. I had an amazing weekend!
